Aaron is standing as a Harpenden Town Councillor to represent Harpenden North. He and is wife live in the North of Harpenden and are delighted to have moved here from St Albans. Having been both a Parish and District Councillor in St Albans, he knows the area well and understands how Councils work and interact with each other.
Aaron is committed to listening to residents and ensuring their voices are heard in the Council and their views respected. He is concerned about the impact of the unfair Lib Dem parking charges on the vitality of the Town. Part of the reason he moved to Harpenden is because of its great High Street and the range of shops there. He opposes Lib/Lab over-development. He understands how difficult it is to get on the housing ladder as a young person and thinks we need some development, but not tens of thousands of new houses ruining our local countryside and putting immense pressure on our infrastructure, particularly our roads. Any new development has to be supported by the appropriate infrastructure.
Aaron is a solicitor and is supportive of the Town Council's attempt to reverse the parking decision at SADC. He says however that given the Lib Dems dominate both the District and Parish Councils, surely they could have talked and agreed not to go ahead with the ridiculous proposals.
