Harpenden Responds to the COVID-19 Pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic has brought together all levels of government and the local community to support local people. The County Council has been responsible for co-ordinating the local response to COVID-19. They have helped manage contact tracing and supported NHS partners to deliver testing.

Harpenden Leisure Centre Update

The new Harpenden Leisure Centre is due to be completed by January 2021. There have been delays on the Cultural Centre, but it too is due to open early next year.  There have been significant recent cost overruns on this build.
